The Archaeological Society of New Mexico is seeking nominations for an honoree to be named in the 2020 edition of the ASNM's Annual Volume. You can learn more about the past honorees of the ASNM's Annual Volume here.
The ASNM encourages GCAS members to nominate a deserving individual to our President, Kyle Meredith, so that in turn Kyle can contact the ASNM with our group's nomination before the end of 2018.
Only 12 days remain to nominate someone, so if you have not already done so please read further and contact Kyle at firstname.lastname@example.org as soon as possible with your nomination!
Dear ASNM Affiliate Society Members:
The Archaeological Society of New Mexico is requesting nominations for the Honoree of the ASNM Annual Volume for the next (2020) edition. As you know, this annual publication is always dedicated to an outstanding individual who has made a lasting contribution toward New Mexico’s archaeological legacy. This person would typically have demonstrated achievements in prehistoric or historic archaeological research, publication, preservation, and public service.
If your affiliate society would like to nominate a person for the Honoree of next year’s volume, please send their name and qualifications to me, via email. Please include with the nomination: a) a short biography of the person, about one paragraph, and b) a short justification for the nomination, again about one paragraph.
You may contact me at: email@example.com
The nominations will be included on the ballot voted upon by the Board of Trustees, ASNM, at the 2019 February winter meeting. Consequently, nominations need to be received before the end of this year. Thanks very much for your support.
